What is God?

Many in the West are Christian - these beliefs are very solidified - founded on the principle of God as a supreme being, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent. However the common belief is that God is somehow outside of "ME", somehow "different" and "better" and will judge "ME."

What is often overlooked is that if God is omnipresent - He must be EVERYWHERE. If he is everywhere, how can he not be IN YOU, AS YOU, what you ARE.

What you are IS GOD - ALL is God. There may be different forms apparently appearing but the very make-up of all form cannot be other than God.

Even if you hold on to the "I am the body" idea, you can see that you have a connection to God. Peace, Happiness, Love - this is what God is, this is what YOU ARE. Your peace and happiness is not dependent on anything. You (the person/the body-mind) are not in control - God is. You are not the DOER - God is. Your illusion that you, as the person, have control, is the source of all your suffering and problems.

If you give up your problems to God, give up the illusion that you are in control, life happens as before but your happiness and peace are no longer dependent on anything - in fact they never were. You just thought you were in control.

It is said that God can never be seen. The reason God can never be seen is that He is the SEER. He is that which is aware, that in which all arises in, that which is looking out of your eyes right now.

Realize God in yourself and others. Realize that this Oneness is all that IS, JUST THIS, as it is - no modification or change needed, no dissatisfaction with the way things are, no Future to finally get what you want...

Surrender to that omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient beingness that YOU ARE, right now.
