When you seek it, you cannot find it.

Where does seeking happen? Seeking is the mind, thoughts... Seeking is the mind wanting something more, wanting to know the Truth, wanting wisdom...

And WHO seeks? When seeking is happening, thoughts arise of an "I" that is seeking. Thoughts create the apparent subject and object.

All forms or objects are defined in mind. So what happens if we drop thought, if we drop words? What happens if we simply look at what IS without using words?

Can you describe the totality of present appearance? What word can be used? What concept is left?

And in this totality, is there a YOU to describe it? Isn't the idea of YOU part of the totality of present appearance? Isn't "YOU" another word or concept?

In the totality of present appearance, THIS HERE NOW, there is no subject or object, no separation.

You are looking directly at Oneness, but there is no one left to look, no one there to describe it. There has NEVER been anyone there outside of thought.

I know of two types of Seekers.

1. A Seeker of the exact technique to find the Absolute.

2. A Seeker of the Absolute who implements this technique.

The technique is simplest itself, but few, if any, do it.

"Two types of seekers" is simply more stories... more being fooled by the illusion, more trying to drink water from the mirage.

Where does the idea of a "seeker" happen?

There are no techniques necessary - simply rest in this immediate knowing that is obvious and undeniable. See that the idea of a "seeker" or "techniques" can only arise in Consciousness.

What you are is PRIOR TO Consciousness.

Hello Friend,

You say: What you are is PRIOR TO Consciousness.

This should be: What you are is PRIOR TO consciousness.

I little "c". Consciousness with a capital "C" denotes the Absolute.

N says "consciousness is the thief as well as the sage, the philanthropist as well as the begger."

The illusion is my enemy of course but it can also show me the way to bring free from it - hence the technique.

Is this the technique to find the Absolute? Can you explain it a bit further?

The words can be parsed as you wish - when all words fail, when all words are seen as not the thing, then what is left?

What is without attributes? What is presently seeing/knowing the totality of present appearance?

Even the idea of one who can answer is only a thought.

Friend,

>What is without attributes?

The Absolute.

>What is presently seeing/knowing the totality of present appearance?

The Absolute.

>when all words fail, when all >words are seen as not the thing, >then what is left?

The Absolute.

Yes it is.

>The words can be parsed as you >wish

Practically all words, yes. But not the words of N. They speak to the Absolute.

When you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him.

This means we must be willing to drop even the Absolute as a concept, to drop even Nisargadatta. Nisargadatta said to even discard HIM - but look to that which he was pointing.

Focusing on the Absolute, the "I" remains as the one who is focused. Remaining stuck on the words will never end suffering. Remaining stuck on the words "The Absolute" forever separates us from the Absolute.

You ARE Nisargadatta, you ARE Ramana, you ARE the Buddha, already. Simply rest in pure SEEing, where even the idea of the Absolute does not arise.

You are ALREADY that.

Thank you for continually pointing to the fact that I do not need to be doing or following anything.
Thank you for not leading up a path of more concepts and striving.
Thank you.
