Seeing your own Self

From stillness and silence, a swirl of potentiality...

An echo or reflection of nothing, which is itself the infinite container of all "somethings"...

The space which is itself nothing other than the presence within which the form appears...

From this unshakable ground of Beingness a pattern emerges - a simple and innocent recognition of Presence, a knowing of knowing, a seeing of seeing...

A reflection appears - the object of reflection contained within the very mirror itself...

A pure awareness of the immediacy or immanence of awareness...

This is the birth of duality - the initial concept of "I AM"...

This is the pattern arising, Presence being aware of itself...

This "I AM" is Life, witnessing itself, recognizing the obvious nature of pure Being, smiling gently on the beauty and Love that loves itself...

"I AM" is a pure and immediate recognition that you are, you exist, you are present, here and now...

And "you" are not this limited being, isolated and defined, separated and suffering...

You are this, this Presence, this Immanence, within which the very reflection of "I AM"-ness appears, on which the concept of "I" comes, not as something separate, but as a facet of Presence itself.

Presence is stillness, space - that immediacy here and now from which the "I AM" idea springs, from which Presence itself manifests as this and that, me and you.

Presence is Life spinning itself, as a kaleidoscope, creating colors and shapes which can only appear within the very kaleidoscope itself.

Presence is Light - shining through itself as the prism creating the rainbow, casting an image of duality upon itself.

Look around - light appears in many shapes...

Can you find the projector of this light? Can you get behind the Ultimate Eye which is seeing this brilliant manifestation of Presence itself?

Can you describe the no-thing-ness of Presence without including every single "thing", including the very body-mind which you've identified with?

Can you look anywhere and not see your very own Self?
